I am a photographer and filmmaker based in Amsterdam.

 

Born in Tehran, I studied film directing and later worked between Ukraine, Poland, and Iran before relocating to NL.

 

I work primarily through portraiture.  I am currently developing a long-term series about waiting, focusing on people whose lives are shaped by administrative and institutional processes.
